Find A Footprint
Materials Checklist:
- 4 or 5 colors of construction paper
- felt pen
- scissors
Preparation:
Cut footprints from one color of construction paper – make a footprint for each word in a recent lesson’s Bible memory verse. Letter one word on each footpring. Make a set of footprints for several recent verses, using a different color of paper for each set. Mix up the four or five sets of footprints and hide them around the room or outside.
Procedure:
Divide class into four or five small groups. Assign each group a color. At a given signal, each team begins searching for its own color of footprints. When all its footprints have been found, the team arranges them in order on the floor. Children read the verses together when all have been placed in the proper order.
