Sometimes it can be difficult to find preschool rhythm activities. The problem is preschoolers just aren’t as focused on music professionals as other age groups, but there is plenty you can do.
First thing you can need is your own homemade instruments then it is time to play.
Start with take the egg shakers and let the children dance around with them. You can play music with it at the same time and you can get them a set of egg shakers too to play with. When you have your set you can shake them to the rhythm of the music. This will teach the kids to do the same.
As for the other instruments you can do the same thing.
A great link to use for the music is right here: http://www.abchomepreschool.com/Music/PreschoolMusicActivities.htm
Rhythm teaches the little ones a lot about music. Many little children are very musically inclined and these activities can help them get a life long love of music, which can lead to high IQ scores and great careers in music.
